Welcome to AmBIT’s Database and Messaging Services. By accessing and using our systems, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Authorized Use Only
The AmBIT Database and Messaging Services are intended solely for use by current authorized clients of AmBIT. Unauthorized use, access, or distribution of system content is strictly prohibited.
Access credentials (usernames, passwords, tokens) must be kept confidential and may not be shared with third parties.
Access is granted for business purposes related to facility condition assessments, asset management, capital planning, project management, and preventive maintenance coordination only.
2. Prohibited Conduct
Users of AmBIT systems agree not to engage in any unlawful activities, including but not limited to:
Uploading, transmitting, or sharing illegal, defamatory, offensive, or fraudulent material
Unauthorized access attempts to AmBIT systems, servers, or related networks (hacking, phishing, etc.)
Distribution of spam, malware, viruses, or malicious code
Use of system data for personal gain, solicitation, or resale without explicit written permission
Any violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of access and potential legal action.
3. Data Ownership and Confidentiality
All data entered, stored, and managed within the AmBIT systems remains the property of the client who owns the original data.
AmBIT maintains rights to system architecture, data structure, and analytics processes.
AmBIT will not share client data with third parties without express consent, except where required by law.
Users must not copy, download, or otherwise replicate database contents except as necessary for their authorized use.
4. Communications Policy
Text messaging services (SMS/email alerts) offered by AmBIT are intended for informational purposes related to facility assessments, project management, or other contracted services.
Users may opt out of messaging services at any time by replying “CANCEL” to any SMS or emailing sms@ambitacs.com with “CANCEL” in the subject line.
Messaging services must not be used to transmit unauthorized marketing, solicitations, or unrelated communications.
5. System Availability and Maintenance
AmBIT strives to provide high levels of uptime and system performance.
Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and system interruptions may occur and will be communicated in advance where possible.
AmBIT is not liable for any losses, damages, or inconvenience caused by system downtime or technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
6. Limitation of Liability
AmBIT provides its database and messaging services “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
AmBIT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the system.
Clients are responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of data entered or extracted from the system.
7. Changes to Terms
AmBIT reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of the services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. By agreeing to receive messages from AmBIT, you understand that message frequency varies, and message/data rates may apply. Reply CANCEL to opt out.
